Barthélemy is produced from a geologically unique plot called "Les Rocs", planted with 85% merlot and 15% cabernet sauvignon. This wine is obtained from natural vinification by infusion.
It is aged for at least two years in used barrels, by dynamisation according to lunar cycles and without the addition of sulphur dioxide or other compounds. The wine is then bottled without filtration.
With a deep purple robe, its subtle nose develops a palette of aromas evoking a basket of well-ripened grapes. Its highly rich palate expresses the complexity of a deep yet silky structure. It has a very seductive and appealing finish which invites you to explore further.
Barthélemy is a perfect companion to all grilled meats, game, mushrooms and fine delicacies. It is a wine which does not dominate the delicate flavours of accompanying dishes.
